This is a rather unique section of The Pumamouse Website.  It contains two main parts which are related, sort of like two sides of the same coin.

The "South African Broadcasting" webpages have been created to feature essays, photos, and sounds regarding the general topic of South African radio and television broadcasting, such as the history.  It is also intended as a place for the varied recollections of those radio and/or television personalities who worked in either or both fields, at more than one place of broadcast.

"The Back Room Boys" webpages have been created to feature essays, photos, and sounds regarding the very unique memories of the men and women who worked behind the scenes in South African radio and/or television broadcasting.  These are the folks who recall what went on in the "back rooms" of the studios, and the happenings which the average radio listener or television viewer never heard or saw.

If you have any interest whatsoever in radio or television broadcasting,
I hope that you might find something here that makes you smile, and maybe even learn something which you did not know before.  And, if you have a particular interest in South African broadcasting, I am fairly certain that you will be browsing this section for hours.  Either way, I would enjoy reading your comments, suggestions, and observations.

Thank you for your consideration.
