| The Pumamouse Website Presents... |
Welcome to the "SPRINGBOK RADIO PHOTOGRAPHS" subsection of The Pumamouse Website! |
| If you are a South African OTR enthusiast, I suggest you make yourself comfortable, because you are likely to be here for awhile. By clicking on the "Springbok Radio Photograph" links located upon this webpage, you will be able to download and view a variety of photographs, all related to Springbok Radio. In addition to rare photographs of former Springbok Radio personalities, you will find some extraordinary treasures. Although the monochromatic color scheme might suggest otherwise, a great deal of consideration has been used in designing this section of The Pumamouse Website. By clicking on any of the "Springbok Radio Photograph" links, you will access a webpage which contains a single photograph. This single graphic method is intended to maximize your pleasure. By limiting the number of photographs upon each webpage to a single selection, the amount of time which you must wait to see the contents of that webpage is greatly reduced. This method also allows you to view an individual photograph of your choice, rather than a group of several photographs which might hold no great interest for you. In an effort to further enhance your viewing experience, a brief description of the subject may be found beneath every photograph. Each photograph webpage (also termed "photopage") includes a link by which you may return to this main "Springbok Radio Photographs" webpage, as well as the standard link by which you may travel directly to The Pumamouse Website Homepage. However, please note that there are no other links upon the individual photopages. Therefore, you must return to this main "Springbok Radio Photograph" webpage, or to the Homepage if you wish to access any other webpage of The Pumamouse Website. The "South African OTR" links are located below the photopage links, followed by all of The Pumamouse Website section links, The Pumamouse email link, and the every present Homepage link at the very bottom of the webpage. With a few noted exceptions, most of the photographs which are included here have been provided by Frans Erasmus. Many thanks to Frans, and to everyone else who has shared their nostalgic photos for our enjoyment. And now, please choose a link, and enjoy a glimpse into the past... | I hope that you have enjoyed viewing these photographs, provided here for your entertainment mainly through the kind efforts of Frans Erasmus. Frans Erasmus is The Pumamouse Website's #1 Springbok Radio Authority. If you have any interest in South African OTR, please be sure to read "The History Of Springbok Radio", an extrememly informative essay written by Frans Erasmus. My gratitude to him for all of his assistance and many contributions to the South African OTR section of The Pumamouse Website can not be overstated. Dankie, Frans. |
