Welcome to the "TEA AND COMFORT" section of
The Pumamouse Website.
Let me begin with this simple statement:
This section of my website is dedicated with love to my parents...
the two best and wisest people I have ever known.

It has long been my observation that, very often, we humans neglect to acknowledge those to whom we owe our greatest debts...those who we most deeply admire and respect...those who have nurtured and instructed us to the best of their abilities, often with noble selflessness and genuine devotion...until, unfortunately, they are no longer with us. Then, it seems, an outpouring of our sentiments is more socially acceptable. Wailing with grief when one's loved ones pass from this world has become a more common practice than singing that loved one's praises while they are still able to hear our song. In my humble opinion, this sad reality is perverse.

Personally, I believe that it is never too late to communicate our feelings to our loved ones, because I do not believe death can sever the eternal bond which we share. However, if given the choice, why wait until a loved one is no longer physically present on this earth to express our gratitude?
And so, Mom and Dad, this section is dedicated to both of you.

Now, I had better make it a good one!

In doing so, I am likely to express my personal views unreservedly on a wide variety of topics. The subjects of food and needlework lend themselves particularly well to old-fashioned "coffee-klatsching". Of course, as my guest, you will always have the opportunity to express your opinions, as well. I welcome your comments. After all, only a fool believes he/she knows everything, and nothing can be learned if one does not know how to truly listen.
